The flame sensor can detect flame and infrared light sources with wavelengths ranging from 760 nm to 1100 nm. It uses the LM393 comparator chip, which gives a clean, stable digital output signal and driving ability of 15 mA.
This flame detector that can be used in fire alarms and other fire detecting devices.
1. It can detect flames or light sources with wavelengths in the range of 760 nanometers to 1100 nanometers, lighters
The test flame distance is 80cm, the greater the flame, the farther the test distance
2. The detection angle is about 60 degrees, which is particularly sensitive to the flame spectrum
3. Sensitivity is adjustable (the blue digital potentiometer is adjusted in the picture)
4. Comparator output, clean signal, good waveform, strong driving ability, more than 15mA
5. Equipped with adjustable precision potentiometer to adjust sensitivity
6. Working voltage 3.3V - 5V
7. Output form: DO digital switch output (0 and 1)
8. Equipped with fixing bolt holes for easy installation
9. Small board PCB size: 3.2cm x 1.4cm
10. Use wide voltage LM393 comparator
1. Connect VCC to the positive pole of the power supply 3.3 - 5V
2. GND connects to the negative pole of the power supply
3. DO TTL switch signal output
1. The flame sensor is sensitive to flames and responds to ordinary light. It is generally used for flame alarms and other purposes.
2. The small board output interface can be directly connected to the single chip IO port.
3. Keep a certain distance between the sensor and the flame to avoid high temperature damage to the sensor. The flame distance for the lighter test is 80cm. The larger the flame, the longer the test distance.
4. When the sensor detects flame, sunlight, or infrared light, it must reach the threshold set by the potentiometer, and the green indicator light Will light up, DO and output low level (about 0 - 0.1V), and the green indicator light is off, then DO will output a high voltage level of about 3V.
Works well
These IR sensors work well and are easy to connect.
Excellent sensors!
I have been using them in an Arduino project for a few months now without any issues. They provide stable, reliable, and consistent analog readings.
