L7812 12V Voltage Regulator TO-220

Overview

This L7812 12 V Voltage Regulator TO-220 can provide up to 1 A of output current at a fixed voltage of 12 V. This chip is a non LDO integrated circuit and excess voltage is removed by heat dissipation.

Given that the product dissipating much heat, it is recommended to use in applications that do not have a high current consumption. It is also necessary to mount filtering capacitors before and after the regulator according to the attached datasheets.
