Overview


This product is a switching voltage source and can provide a constant voltage or constant current output. With this mode of operation, it has very good efficiency and dissipates only very little heat compared to a linear source. The functions of the three potentiometers can be seen in the presentation images.

With the possibility of constant current or constant voltage, the product can also be used as a steady-state LED driver or as a battery charger. It can also be used as a simple adjustable source, helping you with a wide range of projects.

Note: This power supply has a constant voltage and constant current short-circuit protection function. The LED can be driven in constant current mode, and the battery can be charged, but there is no full indicator when charging the battery.

The current detection of the module is low-end detection, please do not short-circuit the negative pole of the input and the negative pole of the output with a wire!

The module is a step-down power supply that can only step down but not up. The input voltage must be higher than the output voltage.


Voltage/current/overcurrent protection point/adjustment method:

Constant voltage adjustment: Turn the "constant voltage adjustment" potentiometer on the power board according to the voltage you need. Turn clockwise (turn to the right) to lower the voltage. The voltage rises counterclockwise (turning to the left).

Constant current adjustment: Before setting the current, adjust the "over-current adjustment" potential to the left to Z large, (think that Z is large. Normally no need to adjust) short-circuit output with a multimeter at 20A current level, adjust the "constant current adjustment" Adjust the potentiometer to the current you need, turn the current clockwise down, and turn up the counterclockwise current.

Over-current regulation: Designed for output short-circuit, which means that when the output short-circuit exceeds the set short-circuit current, the power supply shuts off the output to protect the power module and electrical equipment from damage. Adjustment method: first set the current of the protection point, if it is 5A protection. Use the constant current adjustment method to adjust the output current to 5A, and then adjust the "overcurrent adjustment" potentiometer (clockwise rotation) to output no current. Sometimes the overcurrent point is 5A. (Note that if the current of the protection point is lower than the current required by the device, the power supply will be protected. It is recommended that if the over-current protection Z is not required, keep the default.)
